- A half day practical workshop to begin to apply the skills, knowledge and understanding acquired over the previous two phases
- Group work to take an existing idea, concept or product and innovate upon it to create something entirely new or different (e.g. in form, in application or in terms of market/end user)
- Participants will pitch their innovation to an expert panel in order to secure sales/investment. The emphasis therefore is very much on practical innovation

Yorkshire Consulting Ltd, specialists in innovation and knowledge exchange, are proud to be working with the BioTrib Programme. We have been engaged to help and support the programme’s Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) to further their understanding of what it means to innovate and to apply this knowledge to their research. The programme outlined below is designed to equip participants with a platform upon which they can build their understanding through further practical study and research.
